West Midlands Metro is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Maintenance Manager to join its growing team ahead of further network expansion.
Working for tram operator, Midland Metro Limited (MML), the successful candidate will be based at the Metro’s Wednesbury depot and be responsible for leading the delivery of a safe, compliant and efficient maintenance service.
As work continues on delivering a £1.3 billion investment programme by West Midlands Combined Authority and Transport for West Midlands, they will also have a key role in expanding and developing the infrastructure maintenance team.
All candidates should hold a recognised electrical, mechanical or general engineering apprenticeship, or a higher engineering qualification, and be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on high-value safety-critical equipment.
A Health and Safety and/or Continuous Improvement qualification would also be an advantage.
In return, MML offers a competitive salary and generous benefit package that includes free travel on the Metro and National Express bus services for you and your partner, pension, life insurance and discounted gym membership and car servicing.
The closing date for applications is December 22, 2020, and full details about the vacancy and information on how to apply can be found here (https://westmidlandsmetro.com/about/mml-careers/).
