Joan and Eddie’s Metro Moment began 3 years ago when they met through a mutual friend coming into Joan’s workplace and then Joan and Eddie began seeing each other in their local town. They began to see each other more often and going for a meal each week (Indian mixed grill- which we love!). Their relationship has evolved until they became an official couple around 3 years ago now.
Joan and Eddie regularly enjoy taking trips together whilst enjoying each others company with perhaps a meal or a few drinks somewhere nice.
Joan says “We definitely have our favourite places; most of which we travel to using the tram. The tram is special to me because I had never used one before meeting Eddie and each time we do use one it always ends in a wonderful day out.”
“I am not a person who needs spectacular gestures so when Eddie asked me on the empty carriage it was a lovely and pure moment for me. Of course people may laugh about it but for me it was all that I needed. The Metro has been there at the start of our relationship and has been there throughout, like a journey whilst being on our very own journey. I get ever so excited when we go on our travels together! I also appreciate the efficiency of using a tram; they’re ever so easy to get to your destination.”
Joan and Eddie had small wedding ceremony this year, May 2026 surrounded by their closest loved ones.
