To mark International Women’s Day 2026, West Midlands Metro will host a special celebration recognising the contribution of female colleagues and the vital role they play across the network and the wider community.

Building on last year’s commitment to creating more opportunities for women, this year’s theme, #GiveToGain, focuses on supporting one another through shared learning, confidence building, and personal development.

Ahead of the day, colleagues will be invited to contribute to a Give to Gain Wall, sharing their goals and aspirations for the year ahead as part of a collective display of ambition and encouragement.

The event will take place on Monday, 9 March and will feature motivational presentations from invited guests, including Kate Gerald (K.A.G. Training Consultancy), Mo Harford-Bury (Momentum Neurodiversity  Training & Development), and Sophia Baker (Midlands Air Ambulance Charity).

Each speaker will share insights linked to the Give to Gain theme, offering colleagues inspiration on professional development, positive workplace behaviour, and opportunities to support the wider community.

The celebration reflects Metro’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity, and creating meaningful opportunities for women to grow, connect, and thrive.
