There’ll be glamour galore in Wolverhampton this weekend as the town hosts its annual Pride celebrations, and anyone planning to join the fun is being encouraged to take the tram straight to the heart of it.

With the Ultimate Boyband Party Show topping the bill, thousands of fans are expected to head to West Park on Saturday (June 6). Taking the tram is the easiest way to avoid the stress of traffic and parking and get straight to the celebrations. Trams drop you in the city centre, just a short walk from West Park.

Michael Reading-Skilton, Metro’s Head of Commercial, explained: “Hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter Kaylee Golding, this year’s Wolverhampton Pride is set to be as popular as ever. We’re gearing up to help people make the most of this fantastic celebration of the local LGBTQ+ community.

“With trams running every 4–11 minutes, and over 700 free spaces at our park and ride sites, it couldn’t be easier to get into the city and enjoy the party vibes.”
